Kyrie Irving scores game-high 20 in Cavaliers' loss

(11:21 pm ET) Kyrie Irving scored a game-high 20 points, but it wasn't enough, as the Cavaliers lost to the Hawks, 106-97 on Friday. 

Irving shot seven-of-16 from the field but missed all five of his 3-pointers. He had four assists, but he also had five turnovers. 

The Cavaliers next play against the Suns on Saturday. 


LeBron James scores 18, but has nine turnovers for Cavaliers

(11:17 pm ET) LeBron James scored 18 and added eight assists, but he struggled with nine turnovers in the Cavaliers' 106-97 loss to the Hawks on Friday. 

James shot five-of-13 from the field and seven-of-eight from the line. He had six rebounds and eight assists. He had three turnovers in the final five minutes of the game.

James said that five of his turnovers were due to carelessness. "But I sucked," he added.

The Cavs next host the Suns on Saturday. 


Nets' Brook Lopez doubles up on Friday

(11:10 pm ET) Nets center Brook Lopez posted a double-double on Friday against the Suns.

Lopez shot 6-16 from the field. He sunk seven of his eight free throws, finishing with 19 points. Lopez was active on the boards, pulling down 13 rebounds. He also added a block, an assist and a steal during the contest. 


Al Horford leads Hawks in points, rebounds

(11:03 pm ET) Al Horford led the Hawks in points and rebounds in Friday's 106-97 win over the Cavaliers on Friday. 

Horford scored 19 points on seven-of-12 shooting. He added nine rebounds and six assists. 

Horford scored nine with four boards and four assists in the first quarter, as the Hawks jumped out to a 17-point lead. 

The Hawks next play at the 76ers on Saturday.


Suns' Eric Bledsoe doubles up on the Nets

(11:03 pm ET) Suns guard Eric Bledsoe posted a double-double against the Nets on Friday.

Bledsoe shot 5-10 from the field, including 1-2 from beyond the arc. He sunk eight of his 11 free throws, finishing with 19 points. He was active on the boards, pulling down 10 rebounds. Bledsoe also added six assists and two steals during the contest. 


Hawks' Kyle Korver moves into 13th place on 3-pointer list

(10:58 pm ET) Kyle Korver hit a pair of 3-pointers in the Hawks' 106-97 win over the Cavaliers on Friday, reaching a career milestone. 

The two long-range shots gave Korever 1,686 in his career, moving past Steve Nash into thirteenth place on the NBA's career list. Kobe Bryant is next, with 1,694. 

Korver hit both 3-pointers in the fourth quarter, scoring six of his eight points in the final 12 minutes. 

The Hawks next play at the 76ers on Saturday. 


Rockets' James Harden goes for another triple-double

(10:52 pm ET) Rockets guard James Harden posted a triple-double on Friday against the Pistons.

Harden shot 10-21 from the field, including 2-6 from beyond the arc. He sunk 16-18 free throws, finishing with a team-high 38 points. Harden made sure to get his teammates involved, dishing out 12 assists. He also pulled down 12 rebounds, giving him the triple-double. 


Pistons' Andre Drummond pulls down 21 rebounds

(10:45 pm ET) Pistons center Andre Drummond pulled down 21 rebounds on Friday against the Rockets.

Of those 21 boards, 12 came on the offensive side and nine came on the defensive end. Drummond didn't have a great night shooting, hitting just four of his 16 attempts from the field. He dished out two assists and had two blocks during the contest. 


DeMarcus Cousins gets another double-double in Kings' loss

(10:29 pm ET) DeMarcus Cousins recorded his 36th double-double of the season in the Kings' 119-114 loss to the Magic on Friday. 

It was Cousins' second double-double in three games since his return from a sprained ankle that forced him to sit out two games. 

Cousins shot nine-of-18 from the field and 11-of-14 from the free throw line. He added 12 rebounds and three blocks. 

The Kings next play at the Heat on Saturday. 


Rudy Gay scores 39 in Kings' loss

(10:25 pm ET) Rudy Gay scored a game-high 39 in the Kings' 119-114 loss to the Magic on Friday. 

Gay missed his career high by two points, shooting 16-of-26 from the field. Gay added eight rebounds and three steals.
