Kings' Gay probable, Cousins questionable Thursday vs. Bucks

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(12/17/14) The Kings released the injury report for Thursday's game against the Bucks, with small forward Rudy Gay being listed as probable with right Achilles tendinitis. Gay is averaging a career-best 21.2 points along with 6.3 rebounds and 4.6 assists in 23 games.

Center DeMarcus Cousins is questionable to play against the Bucks. He has been sidelined since Nov. 26 while dealing with viral meningitis.

Kings SF Rudy Gay scores team-high 20 vs. Pistons

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(12/14/14) Kings small forward Rudy Gay scored a team-high 20 points on just 6 of 22 shooting, including 4 of 7 shooting from three-point range, in his team's 95-90 loss to the Pistons Saturday.

Gay struggled with his shot for the second straight game after making just 22.2 percent of his 18 shots Thursday but was able to sink a season-high four three-pointers while matching Thursday's eight rebounds and eight assists Saturday. The Kings take a three-game losing streak into Tuesday's matchup against the Thunder.

Kings SF Rudy Gay scores team-high 27 in OT win vs. Pacers

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(12/6/14) Kings small forward Rudy Gay scored a team-high 27 points on 10 of 20 shooting in his team's 102-101 overtime win over the Pacers Friday.

Gay attempted a game-winning shot with the Kings down one point and only seconds to go that didn't fall in, but teammate Carl Landry cleaned it up with the offensive rebound and putback to put his team up one point with less than a second remaining. The Pacers' last-ditch effort came up short, allowing the Kings to snap a three-game losing streak.

Gay kicked in five rebounds and five assists in his 30 minutes of action, making his only three-point shot as well as all six of his free-throw attempts. The 10 made shots were his most since the second game of the season. Gay is set to square off with the Magic Satuday.
