Sefolosha still out for OKC: Thunder G Thabo Sefolosha did not play on Friday night against the Jazz, marking the eighth straight game he missed due to a sore right foot. Daequan Cook got the start in his place. Sefolosha is being considered day to day. (Updated 02/10/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Sefolosha is averaging just 5.2 points and 2.7 rebounds on the season for Oklahoma City. Sefolosha is hardly an appealing Fantasy option as he is mainly in the Thunder's starting lineup for his defense even when healthy. (Updated 02/10/2012).

01/06/2012 22:23 Thunder bounce back, rout Rockets

The 27-year-old Swiss guard, not to be confused with those guarding the Vatican in Rome, actually had the second-worst NBA season of his five-year career last year with the Thunder. With the emergence of all of Oklahoma City’s other young burgeoning talent, Sefolosha was limited to 25.9 minutes per game over 79 contests. Despite starting all 79 games in which he played, the guard put up just 5.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game while shooting just 28 percent from 3-point range. Word is that he’ll move to the bench this season with James Harden joining the starting lineup as the shooting guard. That is not going to help his Fantasy value. In fact, consider Sefolosha just waiver-wire fodder entering the 2011-12 season. He was barely a viable Fantasy option in his best NBA season and we just don’t see much room for improvement this year. (Updated 8/28/11)
