Fantasy Analysis
Sefolosha hasn't taken more than five shots in a game in a while and is averaging just 3.6 points per game over his last five. With minimal other statistics, Sefolosha has low-end Fantasy value. (Updated 04/01/2012).
05/22/2012 00:28 Westbrook, Durant lead Thunder past Lakers, return to Western finals
Russell Westbrook scored 28 points, Kevin Durant added 25 points and 10 rebounds, and the Oklahoma City Thunder surged ahead in the second half to beat Los Angeles 106-90 in Game 5 on Monday night and eliminate the Lakers from the playoffs.
05/17/2012 03:21 Video: Kobe Bryant fails down the stretch in Game 2 vs. the Thunder
The Lakers blew a seven-point lead with twp minutes to go behind a turnover from Kobe Bryant, a ball knocked out off of him, and two bad misses including an airball. The Thunder finished on a 9-0 run. Bryant's troubles started with a lazy entry pass to Pau Gasol which Kevin Durant stole and then finished off of at the other end. Then a bad pass from Steve Blake was deflected off Bryant. The Lakers could have burned more clock, but Bryant on a subsequent possession went into hero mode.
05/15/2012 00:18 Thunder embarrass Lakers, take Game 1
Russell Westbrook had 27 points and nine assists, Kevin Durant added 25 points and the Oklahoma City Thunder blasted the weary Los Angeles Lakers 119-90 on Monday night in the opening game of the Western Conference semifinals.
The 27-year-old Swiss guard, not to be confused with those guarding the Vatican in Rome, actually had the second-worst NBA season of his five-year career last year with the Thunder. With the emergence of all of Oklahoma City’s other young burgeoning talent, Sefolosha was limited to 25.9 minutes per game over 79 contests. Despite starting all 79 games in which he played, the guard put up just 5.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game while shooting just 28 percent from 3-point range. Word is that he’ll move to the bench this season with James Harden joining the starting lineup as the shooting guard. That is not going to help his Fantasy value. In fact, consider Sefolosha just waiver-wire fodder entering the 2011-12 season. He was barely a viable Fantasy option in his best NBA season and we just don’t see much room for improvement this year. (Updated 8/28/11)
