Miller makes rare start
(4/3/12) Veteran Timberwolves center Brad Miller made a rare appearance on Monday, starting his first game of the season in Sacramento with Nikola Pekovic coming off the bench with an injured ankle. Miller made an immediate impact in the game, scoring 11 points in the first quarter on three three-pointers. He would finish the game with just those 11 points on 4 of 7 shooting, while also adding six rebounds in 22 minutes as the Wolves lost, 116-108.
Miller will retire after season
(3/20/12) The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that Timberwolves center Brad Miller said Monday that he will retire at the end of the season. Miller has played just 43 minutes in seven games this season on a knee surgically repaired last May.
Miller needs better conditioning
(2/5/12) The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that Minnesota C Brad Miller's playing time has been limited by his poor conditioning. That according to coach Rick Adelman. Miller played six minutes last game on Saturday against Houston. He failed to score but turned the ball over twice with two rebounds and two assists.
Miller joins the pack
(1/29/12) Timberwolves C Brad Miller made his season debut on Sunday against Los Angeles, scoring three points in eight minutes as the Wolves lost 106-101 to the Lakers. He missed both of his shots from the field but did make 3 of 4 from the free-throw line.
Miller's debut delayed
(1/27/12) Timberwolves C Brad Miller was all set to make his season-debut on Friday after missing the first 18 games after offseason knee surgery, but the opportunity never presented itself in the Wolves’ 87-79 victory over the Spurs. Despite the absence of Darko Milicic giving the Timberwolves just one healthy center, the close margin of the game kept Miller out of the team’s rotation. His first game will likely be pushed back to Sunday against the Lakers, as Minnesota will likely need plenty of depth against that big front court.
