Brewer gives Nuggets a boost: Denver forward Corey Brewer scored 19 points in his return to the court on Saturday night against Indiana. He missed the previous three games for personal reasons and got the start for the Nuggets. Brewer shot 50 percent from the field, going 1 for 3 from beyond the 3-point arc, and hit two of his foul shots. He also chipped in five boards, two steals and an assist in his 34 minutes of court time. The Nuggets would go on to win the game, 113-109. "His energy was amazing," teammate Arron Afflalo said. "I think he's the reason we won tonight. We fed off him all night long. This was a great game for him and a good game for us." (Updated 02/11/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Coach George Karl said the team needed Brewer's energy and they definitely got it. With Danilo Gallinari sidelined for a month, Brewer will have a bigger role with the team. He entered Saturday averaging 8.0 points and 2.7 rebounds per game this season, but could be a worthy injury replacement in deeper Fantasy formats if he gets off to a hot start in Gallinari's place.
