Report: Conley won't sign extension prior to 2016 free agency
|(5/20/15) The Grizzlies could be in store for back-to-back summers of uncertainty, according to ESPN.com.
Memphis, already focused on Marc Gasol's pending free agency, will be concerned about the unlikelihood that Mike Conley signs an extension before becoming a free agent next year. Conley signed a five-year, $40 million deal in 2010 and is set to enter free agency at a time where the NBA salary cap is expected to rise.
Conley averaged 15.8 points, 5.4 assists and 3 rebounds per game this season.

|(5/10/15) Grizzlies guard Mike Conley received an IV the morning after Saturday's Game 3 victory over the Warriors, according to the Memphis Commercial Appeal.
Near the end of the game, Conley was experiencing cramps, which is why he needed intravenous fluids Sunday morning. Conley has been beat up quite a bit this season but has built a reputation of someone with a high pain tolerance.
He's also dealt with injuries to his face and right foot but has managed to miss very little time on the court.
Conley had 11 points and five assists in Saturday's win.

Conley, who underwent facial surgery April 27 to repair a fracture near his left eye, practiced with the mask Saturday morning and said afterwards he prefers the tighter fit.
"Man, I got a broken face and I'm playing," Conley said. "That's all I'm worried about."

|by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com|
|(5/6/15) Multiple facial fractures didn't hold Grizzlies guard Mike Conley back Tuesday night against Golden State. The point guard played with a clear mask and led his team with a triumphant 22-point performance to top the Warriors 97-90 in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Conley went 8 of 12 from the field, including 3 of 6 from downtown, and 3 of 4 from the charity stripe. He added three assists while logging 27 minutes of game action. Conley's 22 points was his highest scoring effort in a playoff game since scoring 24 in Game 4 of the 2013 Western Conference Semifinals (May 13, 2013).

|(5/5/15) Grizzlies guard Mike Conley will suit up for Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Warriors, according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports.
Conley suffered a facial fracture in the opening round of the playoffs against Portland and will wear a clear mask for additional protection. He also told reporters that his sprained right foot is still bothering him, though he'll try to play through the pain.

Memphis is a 10-point underdog at Golden State, VegasInsider.com.
|Grizzlies guard Mike Conley is looking to build on his best shooting season entering 2014-15. Conley went from 11.8 to 14.1 attempts per game last season, which resulted in a career-high 45.0 percent of his shots made, averaging 6.3 per contest. He got off to a fast start, averaging 18.0 points and 6.3 assists over his first 43 games played before being sidelined with a sprained ankle. The injury kept him out for seven games, and when he returned, he averaged 16.0 points, 5.6 assists and 3.3 rebounds over his final 30 games. Overall, he missed 10 games this season, his highest total since he was a rookie, but he played well when healthy. He scored a career-high 17.1 points per game, while adding 2.9 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.5 steals in 33.4 minutes per contest. Consider him a borderline top-20 guard come Draft Day.
