Fantasy Analysis
Noah is beginning to round back into form after some early struggles and has really picked up his scoring of late. He is averaging 12.6 points with 10.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in his last five contests, and is shooting a solid 67 percent over that span. He looks well on his way to averaging a double-double for the third straight season so with Sacramento, Boston and New Jersey on the schedule for Week 8 (Feb. 13-19), continue to roll with Noah as a viable option in all Fantasy formats. 02/10/2012 21:47 Minus Rose, Bulls pound Bobcats
Joakim Noah had 17 points and 14 rebounds, Carlos Boozer scored 16 points and the Chicago Bulls throttled the Charlotte Bobcats 95-64 Friday night despite the absence of reigning MVP Derrick Rose.
02/08/2012 22:47 Bulls maul N.O. with minimal Rose help
Carlos Boozer scored 18 points and the Chicago Bulls won their fourth straight game while nearly holding New Orleans to a franchise low in points during a 90-67 rout Wednesday night. Star guard Derrick Rose started only two days after leaving Chicago's previous game with back spasms.
02/04/2012 23:01 Rose, Deng help Bulls outlast Bucks
Derrick Rose scored 21 points and had 13 assists and Luol Deng added 21 points in his return after missing seven games due to injury, as the Chicago Bulls easily beat the Milwaukee Bucks 113-90 Saturday night.
02/02/2012 22:59 Rose takes over, Bulls get past Knicks
Derrick Rose scored 32 points to outduel fellow All-Star starter Carmelo Anthony, and the Chicago Bulls beat the New York Knicks 105-102 on Thursday night.
01/30/2012 21:36 Bulls' Rose scores 35 in win vs. Wiz
Derrick Rose scored a season-high 35 points, Carlos Boozer had 18 and Kyle Korver added 17 to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 98-88 win over the Washington Wizards on Monday night.
Despite being limited to just 48 games a season ago, Noah took his game to the next level in 2010-11. He traded some rebounding for more offense and averaged a career-high 11.7 points per contest. He averaged more than 14 points per game before undergoing surgery on his right thumb in December and held his own after returning in February. His rebounding and prowess for always being around the loose ball also increases his chances of putting up more stats. The Bulls do not need his scoring with the likes of Derrick Rose, Luol Deng and Carlos Boozer on the squad but Fantasy owners would definitely love to see him progress as an offensive threat. Even if he doesn't, his ability to rebound, block shots and collect a couple of steals every now and then makes him an ideal candidate in Rotisserie formats. If he could ever develop a reliable jumpshot he would become more valuable in Fantasy, but Noah should still be able to average a double-double for the third straight campaign so consider him as a low-end No. 1/high-end No. 2 Fantasy C in all formats on Draft Day.
