|by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com|
|(7/1/15) The Hawks, who could be losing power forward Paul Millsap to Orlando, have agreed to take center Tiago Splitter from the Spurs via trade into their cap space, a league source has told CBSSports.com NBA Insider Ken Berger.
Details are still being worked out.
Splitter, who can also play the power forward spot, emerged as he received consistent minutes last season. He averaged 8.2 points and 4.8 rebounds in just under 20 minutes per game.

|(6/29/15) The Spurs are shopping center Tiago Splitter, according to a report by the San Antonio Express News.
Splitter is scheduled to make $8.5 million next season, and ridding themselves of that contract would give the Spurs more room to pursue free agent LaMarcus Aldridge.
Spurs' Tiago Splitter (calf) may see more minutes in Game 2
|by Ted Leshinski | Staff Writer|
|(4/21/15) After sitting out the team's final six regular-season games because of a calf injury, Tiago Splitter played only 10 minutes in the Spurs' Game 1 loss on Sunday but coach Gregg Popovich said the center will see more minutes in Game 2 on Wednesday, reports the Los Angeles Times.
"He didn’t go backwards, so that’s a good thing," Popovich said. "Maybe he can play a few more minutes [Wednesday] night, I’m hoping," Popovich said.
Spurs C Tiago Splitter hoping to contribute more in Game 2
|by Jason Butt | CBSSports.com|
|(4/20/15) Center Tiago Splitter believes he'll be able to put in a better performance on Wednesday when the Spurs take on the Clippers in Game 2.
Splitter is dealing with an injured right calf that limited him to less than 10 minutes in Sunday's Game 1 loss. Splitter beliefs the injury will be more manageable after two full days of rest.
“I feel like at least least it didn’t get worse,” Splitter said, via the San Antonio Express-News. “I got some minutes. That’s good. Even in the practices, I didn’t go hard. So it was good to feel myself in the game and running.”
Splitter had 4 points and 3 rebounds in Sunday's game.
Spurs center Tiago Splitter to start Sunday
|by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com|
|(4/19/15) Spurs center Tiago Splitter is available to play in Sunday's opening round game against the Clippers, coach Gregg Popovich said per the San Antonio Express-News.
Splitter, who was questionable with a calf injury, will start Sunday. Splitter is averaging 8.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game this season.
The Spurs are currently 1 1/2-point underdogs.
|It's weird that a championship team would have such useless Fantasy pieces in the starting lineup, but that's what Tiago Splitter was last season. A solid field goal percentage and about six rebounds per game are all that he has to offer on such a crowded roster. On top of the fact that he missed 23 games due to injury, Splitter's minutes got slashed down to 21.5 per game. Barring a preseason injury to Tim Duncan, it's safe to ignore Splitter on Draft Day.
