Fantasy Analysis
Young continues to see around 15-20 minutes off the bench for the Clippers, which makes it tough for the 26-year-old to consistently get his numbers. Randy Foye's hot shooting over the past few weeks is the main reason why Young can't get of the bench and it looks as if that trend will continue in the postseason. Young can be considered a low-end option in deeper formats when healthy. (Updated 04/24/2012).
05/19/2012 17:51 Duncan, Spurs stay calm in comeback for 3-0 lead over Clippers
LOS ANGELES -- Not even a 24-point lead is safe against the dominant San Antonio Spurs, especially when the feast-or-famine Clippers are on the other end of it. The Spurs remained undefeated in the playoffs -- and since April 11 -- by storming back from two-dozen points down in the second quarter and beating the Clippers 96-86 to take a 3-0 series lead.

Chris Paul and Blake Griffin are at less than full strength, but the Clippers get strong bench play to beat Memphis in Game 7. Gary Parrish gives the Clips their due and wonders what befell the once high-flying Grizzlies.
Nick Young's Fantasy value wasn't very high entering last season, as he was expected to be the backup for Gilbert Arenas. However, that all changed once the Wizards sent Arenas off to the Magic in early December. Young quickly took advantage of his increased minutes and established himself as a legitimate scoring threat. He averaged a team-high 17.4 points per game and scored 30 or more points eight times on the season, including dropping 43 on the Kings back in January. Young also averaged a career best in minutes (31.8), rebounds (2.7), assists (1.2) and steals (0.7). However, injuries limited him to just nine games over the final two months of the season, which opened up the door for Jordan Crawford. Crawford was also acquired via a trade and is expected to split time with Young at shooting guard next season. But the 25-year-old proved he can be extremely effective when given quality minutes, which should be the case even if he comes off the bench. As long as Young sees around 30 minutes a night, he can be considered a solid mid-round pick in most formats on Draft Day. (Updated 8/29/11)
