Dudley inconsistent until end : Suns guard Jared Dudley turned in another underwhelming performance during Monday's contest against the Rockets. Dudley finished with just seven points in the 119-112 win on 3 of 7 shooting from the field. He went 1 of 4 from downtown and also added two assists, one steal and one rebound to his stat line, while logging 28 minutes off the bench.

| Fantasy Analysis |
Dudley's production has been all over the place this season, but to be fair, the Suns were one of the most unstable teams in the league this year. Interim coach Lindsey Hunter was constantly mixing and matching his starting lineup and rotations as Phoenix wanted to get some of its younger players some run. Unfortunately that led to a decrease in playing time for Dudley, who averaged just 27 minutes per game on the year 31.1 last season. While Dudley can be considered a decent source for 3-pointers, he only owners in deeper formats should plan on targeting on Draft Day next fall.

| Jared Dudley continued his steady improvement last season, averaging 12.7 points per game, a career high for the third year in a row. He expanded his game some, relying less on the three-point shot and creating for himself a little bit more. The 27-year-old might be able to do even more this season, as the Suns will be desperate for offense with the addition of some new faces, but even if he levels off where he is now, Dudley has emerged as a starting Fantasy option. He is worth targeting in the later middle rounds on Draft Day. (Updated 9/26/12) |
