Watkins traded to 76ers: Center Darryl Watkins was sent from the Hornets to the 76ers as part of Wednesday's deal involving Dorell Wright and Jarrett Jack. Watkins averaged 4.6 points and 5.4 rebounds in five games for New Orleans last season. He was immediately waived by Philadelphia.
