Report: C.J. Watson hooks up with Magic
|by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com|
|(7/4/15) Veteran point guard C.J. Watson has agreed to sign with the Magic, a source has told Yahoo Sports.
The deal is reportedly for three years and $15 million.
Watson will be joining his fifth team in nine seasons. He averaged 10 points and 3.6 assists in 25 minutes per game for Indiana last season.

|(4/17/15) Pacers president Larry Bird and coach Frank Vogel don't forsee resigning point guard C.J. Watson for next season, per the Indy Star.

Pacers will be without G C.J. Watson (elbow) for season finale
|by Elliott Smith | Staff Writer|
|(4/15/15) As they try to hold on to the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference, the Pacers will be without guard C.J. Watson (elbow) for tonight's critical road game against the Grizzlies, per the team.
Watson has missed the last five games for the Pacers, and his status for the postseason remains unclear. In addition to Watson, forward Chris Copeland (abdomen/elbow) remains sidelined after his stabbing incident on April 8.
Pacers unsure if Sloan (toe) will play Tuesday; Watson, Copeland out
|by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com|
|(4/14/15) Pacers guard Donald Sloan is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Wizards, the team announced.
Sloan is dealing with a sore right big toe. In 51 games, Sloan is averaging 7.7 points and 3.7 assists.
Guard C.J. Watson (sore right elbow) and forward Chris Copeland (abdomen/elbow) remain sidelined.
The Pacers are 7-point favorites.
Pacers guard C.J. Watson (elbow) not improving
|by Elliott Smith | Staff Writer|
|(4/13/15) Any hopes of C.J. Watson returning to the Pacers lineup for the final games of the regular season seem unlikely, as the guard has not made much improvement, per Pacers reporter Scott Agness.
Watson is listed as questionable for the Pacers final two games, but it is doubtful he will play, and his status for the playoffs, if the Pacers were to qualify, remains unclear.
Watson is averaging 10.0 points and 3.6 assists per game this season.
|He can score, so that's one thing, but C.J. Watson's role with the Pacers never expanded enough last year to make him Fantasy relevant. He's a shoot-first point guard on a team that doesn't wander very far outside of its starting lineup. And because only averaged 3.2 assists per 36 minutes last season, he doesn't offer the Pacers anything that newcomers C.J. Miles and Rodney Stuckey can't bring them. Ignore Watson on Draft Day.
