Thompson finding his shot: Cavaliers power forward Tristan Thompson made just 34 percent (9 for 26) of his shots over the previous two games but was able to find his stroke Wednesday night against the Pistons. He scored 19 points and hauled in eight rebounds in the 111-104 loss. He went 8 for 13 from the field and made 3 of 6 free throws while playing 35 minutes. Thompson also posted two steals, an assist and a block in the defeat.

| Fantasy Analysis |
Thompson has made some solid progress in his second season out of Texas and has emerged as a serious double-double threat. His shot should only continue to get better, as well, and he gives Cleveland a reliable low-post presence for years to come. Keep the 22-year-old active in most Fantasy formats down the stretch.

| Tristan Thompson is coming off a solid rookie campaign with the Cavaliers as he played in 60 games and started 25. Averaging 23.7 minutes per night, Thompson averaged 8.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and a block per game while shooting 44 percent from the field. Thompson has a lot of learning to do in the NBA this season as he's just 21 years of age. It will be some time before he's able to put all his talent together and really break out for Fantasy owners. That said, Thompson is certainly going to be a draft worthy option, especially in deeper formats, heading into Draft Day. Thompson has plenty of sleeper appeal heading into the 2012-13 season.
