Allen held scoreless in loss: 76ers center Lavoy Allen barely made an impact in Tuesday's contest against the Celtics. Allen checked in the game and played just three minutes in the second quarter. He went 0 of 1 shooting from the field as he finished scoreless with just one rebound in a 109-101 defeat. (Updated 3/5/13) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
Allen was held under 10 minutes of game action for the fifth time this season. he obviously did not get a chance to produce Tuesday night against the Celtics, so we'll continue to keep an eye on his role off the bench moving forward. Allen is averaging 6.4 points and 5.5 rebounds on 22.8 minutes per game this season. He has low-end Fantasy appeal and should be left for deeper formats moving forward. (Updated 3/5/13). |
| Lavoy Allen is one of those players who is clearly more valuable to his real team than to Fantasy owners, as the Sixers locked him up to a two-year extension this offseason worth $6 million. He provided them with solid backup minutes at both front-court positions; however he averaged just 4.1 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. Unless he earns a larger role than expected, Allen has very limited Fantasy value. (Updated 8/21/12) |
