World Peace's season ends on bench : As expected, Lakers forward Metta World Peace was ruled inactive for Game 4 of Los Angeles' first-round playoff series against the Spurs due to a knee injury. World Peace, who averaged just 6.1 points and 3.6 rebounds over his three postseason contests, may be amnestied by the Lakers over the summer, according to the Orange County Register.

Fantasy Analysis
Despite all the distractions, injuries and turnover the Lakers dealt with this past year, World Peace's fourth year in Los Angeles was his most productive. He put up 12.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals on 40.3 percent shooting from the field as he really took to coach Mike D'Antoni's up-tempo offense. However, it appears the Lakers are considering cutting ties with the 33-year-old, which is something owners will have to keep an eye on over the summer. Whether he stays in L.A. or lands elsewhere, World Peace will likely be worth targeting as a low-end option in the later rounds of deeper formats next fall.
