Ginobili plays in final game: Spurs guard Manu Ginobili saw his first action Wednesday night against Minnesota after missing nine straight games and the majority of a 10th with a strained right hamstring. Ginobili was just playing to shake off the rust before the playoffs, as he saw just 12 minutes of actions in the team's season finale. He scored two points with two assists and two turnovers, in a 108-95 loss.

Ginobili, 35, is averaging 11.9 points with 4.6 assists and 1.4 steals. He will have missed 22 games with a variety of injuries. After sitting out for so long, it sounds like he'll be ready for the playoffs. When healthy and active, Ginobili is a quality Fantasy option in the majority of leagues, but he has been less and less healthy as the years have gone on. Ginobili has missed 54 games combined over the last two seasons, and is risky as anything more than a mid-to-late round pick in most Fantasy formats on Draft Day next season.

| Manu Ginobili will be 35 years of age at the beginning of the 2012-13 season for the Spurs. Ginobili continued to show flashes of brilliance, but his overall numbers waned in comparison to recent years. Ginobili only played in 34 games due to injury last year, and when he did play, it wasn't always pretty. He averaged just 12.9 points per game, his lowest total since his second season in the league. In fact, while his field goal percentage rose due to fewer shots being taken, the rest of his numbers dropped across the board. Ginobili could easily bounce back this season if he can stay healthy, but there is also the possibility that the Spurs begin to unravel under their age. This is Tony Parker's team now and Ginobili will likely be the third scoring option, at best. He should enter the season with lower-than-normal expectations as a mid-range Fantasy guard.
