Ginobili getting some rest: With just two games remaining, on Wednesday and Thursday, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich told the San Antonio Express-News on Wednesday that veterans Tony Parker, Manu Ginbobili and Tim Duncan will all miss the final two games of the regular season. Neither of the three is dealing with any sort of injuries, so Popovich is simply resting them until the playoffs. (Updated 04/25/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Ginobili has taken a number of days off recently, which makes sense given the Spurs' depth, his injury history and the fact that the Spurs have had their post-season seeding wrapped up for some time. Ginobili will be rested and ready to go when the playoffs start this weekend, so consider him a high-end option in post-season formats. (Updated 04/25/2012).

LOS ANGELES -- Chris Paul had a turnover and an off-balance miss in the final 30 seconds as the Spurs held on to remain undefeated in the playoffs -- and 18-0 since April 11 -- with a 102-99 victory over the Clippers Sunday night. With their second straight sweep, the Spurs advanced to the Western Conference finals for the first time since 2008.

05/18/2012 22:38 NBA EOB Roundtable: Is West still best?
With the Heat down 2-1 and things looking bleak, the Bulls knocked out due to Derrick Rose's injury, and Boston on what you would think to be its last stand, all the talk about the strength of the East seems a little premature. We decided to roundtable on the state of the East vs. West, and what's the better conference now and in the future.
Well rested, Manu Ginobili enjoyed one of his best NBA seasons at age 33. The Argentine guard reaped the benefits of no international duty during the offseason to play in 80 games for the first time in his nine-year career. He finished 27th overall in standard-scoring Head-to-Head formats last season, but carries a great deal of inflation risk going into the upcoming season. At 34, the chances of him improving upon these numbers seem slim. And with a summer filled with more games for the Argentine national team, those chances seem even slimmer. Count on him to average over 15 points per game with quality production across the stat line. Outside of blocks, Manu remains a plus in just about every category and remains worthy of a pick among the top 60 overall, just be sure to temper expectations some. (Updated 8/28/11)
