Jackson struggles for Bucks: Milwaukee guard Stephen Jackson failed to score in double figures on Saturday night after a three-game run of reaching that plateau. He shot 2 for 8 from the field, missing all four of his attempts from downtown in his 20 minutes of action. Jackson finished with four points, five assists and three boards. The Bucks would end up losing to the Magic, 99-94. (Updated 02/12/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Jackson put together three nice games in a row after he was benched for four games earlier this season. The veteran isn't happy with his role off the bench and is struggling to produce. He's obviously frustrated and so are Fantasy owners. There is still a good chance that Jackson is traded before the March deadline, which would alter his value. But for now, owners are in a tough position as starting him is risky. While he can put up good numbers when his head is in the game, there is no telling how Jackson will feel on any given day. Until this mess in Milwaukee gets a bit more clear, Fantasy owners should reserve Jackson. (Updated 02/12/2012).

01/28/2012 21:55 Wizards beat Bobcats on final shot
JaVale McGee scored 22 points and had 10 rebounds as the Washington Wizards defeated the Charlotte Bobcats for the second time in a week, 102-99 on Saturday.
Stephen Jackson had an up-and down season during his first full year in Charlotte. The seasoned veteran had to deal with injuries and a rash of other distractions and saw his numbers fall across the board during the 2010-11 campaign. Jackson averaged 18.5 points, 3.6 assists and 4.5 rebounds per contest while appearing in 67 games for the Bobcats. That marked the first time since 2006 that he did not average at least 20 points per game. However, he now finds himself back in the Central Division for the first time since his Indiana days, as he was part of the three-team trade made on Draft Day that landed him in Milwaukee. Despite some initial grumblings that Jackson wasn't happy about being traded again, the 33-year-old reportedly is excited to be playing with the Bucks. It’s unknown whether he will start at guard or forward, but either way, Jackson should be able to retain similar Fantasy value to what he had with the Bobcats. Perhaps another change of scenery will do him some good and many think Jackson could be in for a big year, if he can stay healthy. At the very least, owners should once again be able to count on around 20-points per night with a healthy number of rebounds, assists and steals. That type of production warrants Jackson being worthy of an early round selection on Draft Day. (Updated 8/28/11)
