Randolph to see the court?: Nuggets forward Anthony Randolph saw his most extensive playing time in more than a month Thursday against he 76ers, as Wilson Chandler was forced to miss the game due to a shoulder injury. Randolph scored seven points in 21 minutes, shooting 3 of 6 from the field. He added three rebounds and three steals in the game, a 101-100 win. (Updated 3/21/13) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
Heading into Thursday's game, Randolph had scored just two points in nine minutes total in the month of April, so it was certainly strange to see him play a positive role. He might continue to get minutes over the next few games with Chandler out, but he is unlikely to be worth owning in most Fantasy formats moving forward. (Updated 3/21/13). |
| The two words that best sum up Anthony Randolph's first four seasons in the league would be: overhyped and disappointment. The 23-year-old has failed to live up to his potential during his first few seasons in the league and now he finds himself on his fifth team in as many years after being signed by Nuggets over the summer. While Randolph has shown flashes of his potential over the past few seasons, he has never been able to put together more than a few weeks of good basketball. He enters the 2012-13 campaign with career averages of 8.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game and is career 45.9 percent shooter from the field over his career. He is also a decent shot blocker and will likely compete for minutes at power forward this season with Kenneth Faried. Still, because he has yet to prove he can consistently produce at this level, Randolph is only worth targeting in the later rounds on Draft Day in deeper Fantasy formats. There is some upside there however. (Updated 8/22/12) |
