Greene solid in rare start: Kings forward Donte Greene started for just the third time all season on Friday against the Mavericks, and he played well in his opportunity. Taking advantage of a Mavericks lineup that was without starting center Brendan Haywood, the Kings went small, with Greene playing 20 minutes, scoring 11 points on 4 of 6 shooting as the Kings won, 110-97. He also added one rebound, two assists and a block in the game. (Updated 03/10/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Greene is averaging just 5.7 points per game on the season, as he is averaging just 14.9 minutes per game. He has seen his role increase at times, especially recently, as he is averaging 22.8 minutes per game over the last five. Still, Greene simply doesnt have a large enough role on the team to be worth more than just a low-end reserve spot in deep Fantasy leagues. (Updated 03/10/2012).
