|by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com|
|(12/15/14) Nets center Brook Lopez is now in the "conditioning phase" of his rehab and has been declared out for Brooklyn's three games this week.
Lopez, who is dealing with a lower back strain, has missed the last four games and is averaging 16.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game in 16 contests. He will be re-evaluated Saturday.
The Nets next opportunity to get Lopez on the floor would be Sunday against the Pistons.
Nets C Brook Lopez gets the red-light again Saturday

|(12/13/14) As expected, Nets center Brook Lopez was ruled out for Saturday's game against Charlotte because of a lower back strain, ESPN reports. Lopez has now missed three straight games because of the injury and is expected to evaluated on Sunday. The team is expected to provide an update on his injury on Monday.
Report: Nets making Williams, Johnson, Lopez available via trade
|by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com|
|(12/9/14) The Nets are making point guard Deron Williams, shooting guard Joe Johnson and center Brook Lopez available via trade, according ESPN's Marc Stein.
The Nets, off to an 8-11 start, aren't looking for a salary dump and are still hoping to remain a playoff team, according to Stein and Ohm Youngmisuk.
The trio earns $58.7 million combined this season, the most of any three players on a team this year.
Nets C Brook Lopez (back) to miss at least one week
|by R.J. White | CBSSports.com|
|(12/7/14) Nets center Brook Lopez will miss at least one week of action due to a lower back strain, the team announced Sunday.
Lopez is scheduled to be re-evaluated next Sunday, leaving him sidelined for the team's four-game schedule this week. If cleared, the earliest he figures to return is Dec. 16. Lopez has averaged 16.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 16 games.
|"If Brook Lopez were able to stay healthy..." That has become a mantra for Fantasy basketball owners over the last three seasons, as the once-durable big man has become one of the league's most brittle stars. Lopez was limited to just 17 games last season as he dealt with yet another foot injury, the second time he has had a season end prematurely due to issues with his feet. He had been the Nets' best player and one of the top centers in Fantasy prior to the injury, averaging 20.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.8 blocked shots per game while averaging just 31.4 minutes per game. At this point, Lopez is one of the ultimate boom-or-bust players in the league. If you get 70-plus games out of him, few big men can match his productivity, but there is simply no guarantee he is capable of that at this point. Lopez could be a great value in the early middle rounds on Draft Day, but you can't take the risk of looking his way much earlier.
