|by Joe Polito | CBSSports.com|
(7/16/14) Small forward Brandon Rush agreed to a two-year deal with the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday, according to Yahoo Sports.
Rush appeared in only 38 games with the Jazz last season following a torn ACL he sustained in 2012. He spent two seasons prior to last year with Golden State and is a 41 percent three-point shooter for his career.

(4/4/14) Jazz guard Brandon Rush will miss Friday's contest against the Pelicans due to an illness, the Salt Lake Tribune reports.

|Brandon Rush still not fully healed |

(3/28/14) Between a frustrating recovery from knee surgery and an inability to carve out a consistent role, Jazz guard Brandon Rush has found playing time hard to come by this season.
He told the Salt Lake Tribune Friday this has been a "frustrating" season, having played in just 37 games, including four straight DNP's. He is averaging just 2.1 points in 11.1 minutes per game, and acknowledged that his surgically repaired knee is still not 100-percent healed.

(11/30/13) Jazz guard Brandon Rush failed to make an impact as he was limited to only 13 minutes of game action off the bench in Friday's loss to the Suns.
Rush, who is working his way back from a torn ACL, played just his second game of November. He went 0 of 2 shooting from the field and finished scoreless with two assists and one rebound in a 112-101 defeat.
|Brandon Rush takes step forward, expects to play Friday |
|by R.J. White | CBSSports.com|
(11/28/13) Jazz guard Brandon Rush expects to play in Friday's game against the Suns, the Deseret News reports. He has only managed to take part in one game after coming back too early from a torn ACL.
"I think I’m taking a step forward," Rush said Thursday. "If I feel pretty good, I’ll probably end up playing (Friday)."
Rush went scoreless in 10 minutes on Nov. 5 in his only game action this season.
|Brandon Rush missed out on the Warriors’ run to the second round of the playoffs last season, as he suffered a torn ACL in the second game that ended his season. When healthy, Rush is one of the better role players in the around, providing shooting and athleticism off the bench. With the Jazz headed for a high spot in the lottery and Rush working on an expiring contract, it would not be a surprise to see them spend the first half of the season showcasing Rush before trying to move him at the deadline for a future asset. If that is the role he fills, Rush could be a surprisingly useful Fantasy option, as he could top double-figures in scoring for the first time in his career. For now, Fantasy owners should leave Rush for just the later rounds on Draft Day, but keep an eye on him off waivers, as he could turn into a contributor once he proves his health.
