Morris back in action : Suns forward Markieff Morris was able to return to the lineup for Tuesday night's contest against the Kings. Morris, who had missed the past two games with the flu, finished with just one point in the 109-100 win. He missed all three of his field-goal attempts but added two rebounds, two assists and one block to his stat line, while logging 14 minutes off the bench. (Updated 04/04/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Morris was able to return to court on Tuesday, but failed to make much of an impact. The rookie has had a hard time finding his footing during his first season in the league, but that is not uncommon for younger players. While he appears to have the talent to be a steady producer for years to come, owners should consider Morris merely a low-end option in deeper formats this season. (Updated 04/04/2012).
Markieff Morris addresses a need for the Suns. The team never filled the void left by the departure of Amar'e Stoudemire and while Channing Frye sees himself as more comfortable at the four than at center, Morris could provide the team with its only true power forward. As a result, he could find himself playing decent minutes in a very up-tempo offense even as a rookie. Morris led the Big 12 in rebounding last season with 8.3 boards per game and could easily become the best source for boards among rookies (take note, category-league owners). He'll be worth a late-round pick, but could see his stock rise as the season goes on. In keeper formats, he is worthy of a mid-to-late round pick. (Updated 8/28/11)
