Vucevic replaces Hawes in starting five : 76ers coach Doug Collins shook his starting lineup prior to Tuesday night's contest against the Nets. Collins replaced Spencer Hawes with Nikola Vucevic at center, while Jodie Meeks replaced Evan Turner at shooting guard. ”When you’re going through some losing,” noted Collins, “the easiest thing to do is just stay status quo, and say let’s hope this works itself out. Fantasy Analysis
Out of all the changes Collins made on Tuesday, we think this is the move that could trip up some Fantasy owners. Vucevic only logged 16 minutes against New Jersey on Tuesday night, while Hawes saw nearly 30 minutes off the bench. It appears Hawes will continue to see the bulk of the minutes whether he is starting or being used as a reserve, so owners should continue to view Vucevic as merely a low-end option moving forward.
