Fantasy Analysis
We have been waiting for this kind of production all season, but Budinger finally appears to be settling in for Houston. Since sitting out three games in late January, Budinger has scored in double figures in six of his last eight games. He is averaging 13.1 points per game in that span. If Budinger is dialing it up from range, then he is going to post some nice scoring lines. He doesn't really fill the stat sheet, so consider him a low-end Fantasy option. (Updated 02/09/2012).

01/27/2012 22:54 Rockets 103, Wizards 76
Chase Budinger scored a season-high 21 points, hitting four 3-pointers, Luis Scola added 19 points, and the Houston Rockets blew out Washington in the second half of a 103-76 win Friday night.
Chase Budinger will go into the 2011-12 NBA season with a chance to be the team's regular at small forward, which could result in his breakout campaign in NBA Year No. 3. A very capable outside shooter, he should average double figures for the first time in his NBA career with even a modest increase over his 22.3 minutes per game averaged last year. He may have to fend off the likes of rookie Marcus Morris if he becomes more of a wing player in the NBA, but is a true value pick as a sleeper with upside in the later rounds. Count on him for 3-point help and free-throw percentage in category play, though he typically does not drive enough to get to the line more than a couple of times per game. (Updated 8/28/11)
