LeBron on how to stop Steph Curry: 'You can't'

by Ruben Palacios | Staff Writer
(5/29/15) Cavaliers forward LeBron James gave Steph Curry the ultimate compliment on Friday. He put the newly-crowned MVP in the same sentence as himself.

James was asked how his team could slow down the Warriors sharpshooter.

"Well, the same way you slow me down. You can't," James said.

James, a four-time league MVP, is preparing his team to face off against Curry in the NBA Finals after they swept the Hawks in the Eastern Conference Finals earlier this week.

Warriors G Stephen Curry scores 26 in elimination win over Rockets

by Jason Butt | CBSSports.com
(5/28/15) Warriors guard and NBA MVP Stephen Curry scored a game-high 26 points in Wednesday's 104-90 win over the Rockets in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals.

The win eliminated the Rockets and advanced the Warriors to the NBA finals, where they'll face the Cavaliers.

Curry made 7 of 21 shots from the field, which included going 3 for 11 from three-point land. It wasn't his best game given the number of shots he was forced to put up, but he came through with some clutch plays in the fourth quarter.

PG Stephen Curry sore, but will play normal minutes

by Elliott Smith | Staff Writer
(5/27/15) After suffering a scary fall during his team's Game 4 loss, Warriors guard Stephen Curry will play his normal amount of minutes Wednesday as the team looks to clinch in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals, per Ken Berger of CBSSports.com.

Curry was wearing a shooting sleeve with an elbow pad on his right arm during shootaround and said that he was sore all over, but that he was "good to go" for the game. Curry is averaging 32.5 points in the conference finals.

Warriors G Stephen Curry (head) returned to Game 4 vs. Rockets

by Jason Butt | CBSSports.com
(5/25/15) Warriors guard Stephen Curry was able to return to Game 4 of the Western Conference finals against the Rockets after sustaining a head contusion in the second quarter.

It was a scary moment for Curry, who hit his head on the court after flipping over Trevor Ariza under the basket. Curry was forced to exit the game but was able to walk under his own power with some assistance.

Curry was tested for a concussion and then did some jogging in the tunnel by the locker rooms. After the game, Warriors general manager Bob Myers was asked if Curry did sustain a concussion.

"If he did, he wouldn't have played," Myers said, via ESPN. "That's pretty hard line"

Curry finished the game with 23 points on 7-of-18 shooting from the field. He made six of hi 13 three-point attempts. After the game, he said he would be ready for Game 5 on Wednesday.

"It's all kind of minor stuff compared to how it looked," Curry said. "I'll get some good rest tonight and be ready to go. Since it happened to now, nothing's gotten worse. I expect that to continue in the hours leading to Wednesday."
