Daye getting some shots: Pistons forward Austin Dayes has seen his playing time sharply increase over the last two games, playing 29 games on Wednesday and then 33 on Friday against Chicago, as he has been inserted into the starting lineup amid injuries to the backcourt. Daye scored in double figures Friday, the first time he has done so since Jan. 30, as he put in 11 points on 5 of 14 shooting. Daye also had two rebounds and an assist, while making his impact felt on the defensive end of the court with two blocks and three steals. (Updated 03/30/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Daye may not get many opportunities to play, so it is good to see him take advantage of them on Friday. He is still shooting just 31.6 percent from the field, which goes a long way towards explaining why chances have been hard to come by. Daye is only valuable as a low-end reserve when he is starting, right now. (Updated 03/30/2012).
