(4/7/13) Spurs guard Danny Green was not much of a factor during Saturday's win over the Hawks. Green finished with just four points in the 99-97 victory on 1 of 4 shooting from the field. He went 1 of 2 from downtown and also added one rebound and one assist to his stat line, while logging 19 minutes of game action.
|Another testament to the Spurs’ development program, Danny Green emerged as a dependable starter last season. Green has become one of the better shooters in the league, and that is where he generates the majority of his offense from; Green shot 42.9 percent on 5.2 3-pointers per game in 2012-13. Green averaged a career-high 10.5 points per game in 80 games, and should be in a similar role this season. In Fantasy formats that reward extra points for 3-pointers, Green is a solid Fantasy option. Look for him in the mid-to-late rounds on Draft Day.
