Hawks guard Jeff Teague adjusting to new eyewear
|by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com|
|(10/7/14) Hawks point guard Jeff Teague wore his new corrective eyewear for just a few minutes during Monday's preseason game against the Pelicans. Although Teague chose not to stick with the sport goggles for long Monday, he hasn't abandoned wearing them, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
"I’ve got to get used to them a little bit more," Teague said. "I couldn’t do. They were actually pretty clear it was just the comfort having never having anything on your face before. It was pretty different."
Hawks G Jeff Teague testing out prescription goggles

|(9/30/14) Hawks guard Jeff Teague will need to wear corrective lenses on the court for the first time in his career. He told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Tuesday that he'll test out prescription goggles during training camp.
"I prefer to wear the goggles," Teague said. "The goggles were pretty good today. We’ll see."
Teague averaged 16.5 points, 6.7 assists and 2.6 rebounds over 79 games.
Jeff Teague drops 34 in overtime
|by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com|
|(3/19/14) Hawks guard Jeff Teague put together one of his best performances of the season Tuesday, in a 118-113 overtime win over the Raptors.
Teague scored the ball efficiently, dropping 34 points on 11 of 18 shooting, as he went 11 for 11 at the free-throw line. He also filled the box score up nicely, finishing with three rebounds, five assists and four steals, while turning the ball over just twice in 40 minutes.
Teague has struggled with his consistency for much of the season, but is still putting up the best numbers of his career. Teague is averaging 16.2 points and 7.0 assists per game on the season.
Jeff Teague tossed up double-double in win
|by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com|
|(3/16/14) Hawks guard Jeff Teague recorded his 12 double-double of the season and first in over a month Saturday, in a 97-92 win over the Nuggets.
Teague scored 15 points on 6 of 13 shooting, with one 3-pointer made. He also added six rebounds and 10 assists, though he also turned the ball over five times in 36 minutes.
Teague has been a bit up and down this season, but is playing well right now. In seven March games, he is averaging 15.4 points and 7.3 assists per game.
|After the first two months of the season, Jeff Teague appeared to be blossoming into a true star in Mike Budenholzer's newly installed offensive system. Teague averaged 17.0 points and 8.2 assists per game in November and December, but his breakout was somewhat derailed by the season-ending injury suffered by Al Horford. From Jan. 1 on, Teague averaged 16.2 points and 5.7 assists per game, solid numbers but hardly what Fantasy owners were hoping for before the new year. Teague finished the season 15th in Fantasy scoring among guards, and should be considered at least a top 20 option for next season. However, he plays the deepest position in the game, so you can afford to wait a few rounds before looking Teague's way on Draft Day.
