Beaubois shows some life off bench: Mavericks G Roddy Beaubois had not been scoring much of late but he was able to get back on track in Wednesday's game against the Nuggets. He finished with 13 points in 20 minutes off the bench during the 105-95 win. He went 5 for 7 from the floor, including 2 for 3 from downtown, and made his lone free throw. Beaubois also posted three rebounds, two assists and a block in the victory. (Updated 02/09/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Beaubois had been playing extremely well in place of the injured Jason Kidd but he entered Wednesday having scored in single digits in each of his previous four games, including laying an egg on Saturday. Hopefully his performance against the Nuggets will get him back on track but owners should keep an eye on Kidd's status as well. Beaubois is worth using in deeper Fantasy formats while he is seeing some run, but it likely won't last for long. (Updated 02/09/2012).

01/27/2012 23:23 Beaubois answers with 22 in Mavs win
Roddy Beaubois had a season-high 22 points and Lamar Odom added 19 points, his most since joining the Mavericks at the start of the season, to lead Dallas to a 116-101 victory over the Utah Jazz on Friday night.
Roddy Beaubois missed much of last season due to an excruciatingly slow-healing recovery from foot surgery. He underwent the surgery in early August and did not get into an NBA game until mid-February, which halted any chances he had of making any significant progress in his second NBA season. He has shown sparks as a scorer off the bench and could approach 10 points per game this season if he can carve out about 20-25 minutes off the bench. However, as long as Jason Terry remains healthy, Beaubois is unlikely to make an impact in Fantasy. Expect him to be a waiver wire option for the most part this season. (Updated 8/28/11)
