Clark willing to stay in L.A. : Lakers forward Earl Clark said he would be willing to take less money to stay in Los Angeles next season, the Los Angeles Daily News reports. Clark, who will be a restricted free agent over the summer, averaged 7.3 points and 5.5 rebounds on 44 percent shooting from the field over 59 games -- 36 starts -- with Los Angeles. | Fantasy Analysis |
Clark was forced into action with all the injuries the Lakers dealt with and was surprisingly effective as a starter. In fact, Clark averaged 9.0 points and 6.8 rebounds over his 36 starts and posted six double-doubles over that span. The 25-year-old will likely draw some interest over the summer, so it will be interesting to see how things play out. However, no matter what happens, Clark will only have value if he lands a starting job somewhere. (Updated 4/29/13). |
