Meeks moved into starting five : 76ers coach Doug Collins shook his starting lineup prior to Tuesday night's contest against the Nets. Collins replaced Spencer Hawes with Nikola Vucevic at center, while Jodie Meeks replaced Evan Turner at shooting guard. When youre going through some losing, noted Collins, the easiest thing to do is just stay status quo, and say lets hope this works itself out. Or, you can try to make some changes. And you do that by thinking long and hard on it. (Updated 04/11/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Meeks will now be a fixture in the 76ers' starting lineup according to Collins, which should help increase the 24-year-old's production. However, he will still give way to Turner late in close ball games, so we don't anticipate a Meeks' Fantasy value to increase much over the final few weeks of the season. Continue to view him as merely a low-end option in deeper formats at this point in the year. (Updated 04/11/2012).

05/16/2012 21:40 Celtics destroy Sixers, retake series lead
Kevin Garnett scored 27 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and used a dominant second quarter to help the Boston Celtics beat the Philadelphia 76ers 107-91 on Wednesday night and take a 2-1 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
After two seasons riding the pine with the Bucks and 76ers, Philadelphia’s Meeks finally came alive for Fantasy owners last year. Meeks started 64 games for Philadelphia and played in 74 contests total as he averaged career-highs of 10.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.1 assists and a steal per game. But Meeks is best used in Fantasy as a prolific 3-point shooter. Averaging 28 minutes per game, Meeks shot 40 percent from downtown and nailed almost two 3-pointers per night. His 138 3-pointers made were the most by a Philadelphia player since Kyle Korver nailed 184 in 2005-06. Fantasy owners should be targeting Meeks late in drafts as a player who will be a solid source of 3-point shooting. He should be considered a low-end Fantasy guard and his value is higher in category-based leagues compared to head to head formats. (Updated 8/23/11)
