Mills remains a minimal contributor : Spurs guard Patty Mills was not much of a factor during Tuesday's contest against the Timberwolves. Mills finished with eight points in the 107-83 defeat on 2 of 7 shooting from the field. He also added six assists and one rebound to his stat line, while logging 24 minutes of game action.

| Fantasy Analysis |
Mills continues to be used sparingly off the bench in San Antonio as he usually only logs decent minutes when coach Gregg Popovich decides to rest half of his roster just like on Tuesday night. While Mills has shown some range from downtown, he should not be active in the majority of formats at this point in the season.

Nuggets handle Spurs, home streak at club-record 21
Wilson Chandler scored 29 points and Corey Brewer had 28 as the Denver Nuggets overcame a slow start Wednesday night to post their franchise-record 21st straight home win, 96-86 over the San Antonio Spurs.

| Patty Mills will once again have to prove his Fantasy value to owners entering the 2012-13 NBA season. Mills will suit up for the Spurs, where he averaged 10.3 points, 2.4 assists and 1.8 rebounds per game last year with 1.5 3-pointers over just 16.3 minutes per game through 16 contests. He provided a spark at times, but was held to just 3.9 minutes per game in the playoffs for coach Gregg Popovich. Mills enters the upcoming season as a player not needed to be drafted in most Fantasy formats. (Updated 8/22/12) |
