Career night for Temple: Bobcats guard Garrett Temple, who has seen more playing time lately with Shaun Livingston out of the lineup, turned in the best offensive performance of his young career Friday against the Heat. Temple shot 4 of 9 from the floor including 3 of 6 from beyond the arc on the way to a career-high 17 points. He added three assists, a rebound and two steals in 19 minutes of playing time off of the bench. (Updated 04/09/2011)

Fantasy Analysis
Temple got his shot going mostly in the second half of the loss, and his back to back 3-pointers in the fourth quarter helped the 'Cats get within six points of the Heat, before they put the game away. Temple has played solid ball since receiving more playing time with all of the injuries Charlotte has dealt with. Fantasy owners may want to keep an eye on the second-year man out of LSU moving forward. He has solid potential and stands 6-foot-6 in the backcourt, so he may present matchup problems when given more opportunity. Still, Temple is a marginal option for now while backing up D.J. Augustin.
