McNeal remaining with Jazz: The Jazz signed guard Jerel McNeal for the remainder of the season despite not appearing in a game with the club, NBA.com reports. McNeal joined Utah on a 10-day contract March 27 from the NBA Development League. He was released by the Hornets after the 2010-11 season.
