Gee looking for strong finish : Cavaliers forward Alonzo Gee turned in one of his better offensive games of the season during Sunday's win over the Magic. Gee finished with 19 points in the 91-85 win -- his highest scoring output since Feb. 9. He went 7 of 12 from the field, including 3 of 6 from downtown and also added seven rebounds and two assists to his stat line, while logging 32 minutes of game action. (Updated 4/8/13) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
Gee has had his moments this season, but the most part his production has been very sporadic. The 25-year-old really doesn't excel in anyone category and his biggest asset to Fantasy owners is his ability to occasionally get his scoring into the mid-teens. While it is hard not to root for the undrafted fourth-year man out of the University of Alabama, Gee has merely low-end appeal in deeper formats when healthy. (Updated 4/8/13). |

Green beats Cavs at buzzer, Celtics end skid at five
Jeff Green scored 21 points and hit the winning layup at the buzzer, and the Boston Celtics snapped a five-game losing streak with a 93-92 victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night.
|
| Alonzo Gee is entering 2012-13 on the heels of a career season for the lowly Cavaliers. Because the team needed consistent play from anywhere it could get it, Gee provided that consistent force at the forward spot. The 25-year-old played in 63 games and saw 29 minutes per night as he averaged 10.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.3 steals and almost a 3-pointer per contest. The Cavaliers might have more fire power around him this season, but will once again need plenty of steady play from Gee. We expect his solid play to continue and consider him a decent pick in the later rounds of deeper Fantasy formats. (Updated 8/22/12) |
