Vesely notches a first : With a number of injuries hitting their frontcourt recently, Wizards rookie forward Jan Vesely has been seeing more opportunities to play recently, and on Monday he had arguably his finest game of the season against the Bobcats. Vesely recorded the first double-double of his career in the game, matching a career high in rebounds with 11 while also adding 11 points in 26 minutes, as the Wizards won, 113-85. Vesely shot 5 of 11 from the field and also added two blocks and two assists in the game. (Updated 04/09/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Vesely has actually been playing much better recently, as he is averaging 9.4 points and 6.2 rebounds per game over the last five games. The No. 6 overall pick in last year’s draft has been showing some of his potential recently, and the Wizards have to be pleased with that here at the end of a miserable season. Vesely has not shown he can keep it up, but at his current level of play, he could be considered a viable starter in deeper Fantasy leagues, with more value in keeper leagues. (Updated 04/09/2012).
