|(7/2/15) The Kings made a move in free agency, but it wasn't for one of the big names they've been chasing, instead signing shooting guard James Anderson to a multi-year deal, per Yahoo Sports.
Anderson, who last played in the NBA with the 76ers in 2013-14, spent last season playing in Lithuania. He did average 10.1 points and 3.8 rebounds during his stint in Philadelphia, playing in 80 games. Prior to that, he had stints with the Spurs and Rockets.

|(7/8/14) The 76ers waived guard James Anderson prior to the start of free agency, making him an unrestricted free agent.
Anderson started 62 of 80 games for the 76ers last year, averaging 10.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.
James Anderson lights up Rockets again
|by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com|
|(3/28/14) 76ers guard James Anderson has made a point of terrorizing his former team this season, as he put up his second 30-plus point game against the Rockets Thursday.
Anderson, who scored 36 against the Rockets back in November, scored 30 points in just 29 minutes this time around. He shot 11 for 18 from the field and 6 for 11 from three-point range, while adding three rebounds and two assists in a 120-98 loss.
Anderson barely played for the Rockets a year ago, but has acquitted himself nicely in an extended role with the 76ers. He is averaging 10.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game in 70 appearances.
James Anderson can't find his shot in loss to New York
|by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com|
|(3/21/14) 76ers guard James Anderson got the start Friday, but endured a rough shooting performance in a 93-92 loss to the Knicks.|
In his first game back from a quad contusion, Anderson scored only eight points on 3 of 14 from the floor, including an abysmal 1 of 10 from downtown, and 1 of 3 from the free throw line. He also chipped in with six rebounds, one assist and two steals while logging 35 minutes of game action. He is averaging just 7.7 points and 3.3 rebounds over his last three appearances.
|A journeyman at the age of 24, James Anderson found a niche as the starting point guard for the 76ers in 2013-14. He appeared in 80 games and started 62, while averaging 10.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game. Unfortunately, the 76ers waived Anderson prior to the start of free agency, likely dooming him to a future as a reserve on another team's bench next season. Without the plethora of shots provided by the 76ers' wide-open offense, Anderson has nearly zero Fantasy value on Draft Day.
