Pacers resting three starters Wednesday
by Joe Polito | CBSSports.com
(4/15/14) Indiana starters Paul George, Lance Stephenson and David West will all take a seat Wednesday for the last game of the season, according to the team website.

The Pacers have locked up the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, so coach Frank Vogel has decided to give some of his guys the night off before the playoffs start.

Rest over: Pacers starters back in action Friday
by Joe Polito | CBSSports.com
(4/11/14) Frank Vogel's plan to rest his starting five was short-lived, as ESPN reported Friday that Paul George, Roy Hibbert, David West, Lance Stephenson and George Hill will take the floor against Miami.

This doesn't come as a surprise with the Pacers now clinging to a one-game lead over the Heat atop the Eastern Conference standings.

Pacers resting all five starters Wednesday
by Joe Polito | CBSSports.com
(4/9/14) The Pacers will go ahead with their plan to rest key players heading into the playoffs, as the Indianapolis Star reports that Roy Hibbert, David West, Paul George, Lance Stephenson and George Hill will all take a seat when what's left of the team plays Milwaukee Wednesday.

Coach Frank Vogel had said that Indiana would employ this tactic, but it will be interesting to see if the rest continues on Friday when the Pacers take on Miami, the team just inches ahead of Indiana for No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Paul George records second career triple-double
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(3/22/14) Pacers forward Paul George stuffed the stat sheet despite having a rough shooting night on Friday, posting his second career triple-double in a 91-79 win over the Bulls.

George scored 10 points on 3 of 13 from the floor, including 1 of 5 from downtown, and 3 of 4 from the free throw line. He also contributed with 12 rebounds, 10 assists and one steal while logging 37 minutes of game action. He is averaging 21.2 points, 8.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists over his last five games.
Paul George drops 30 despite subpar shooting
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(3/15/14) Pacers forward Paul George struggled to get his jumper to fall Saturday, but still ended up scoring 30 points in a 112-104 overtime win over the Pistons.

George didn't shoot poorly overall, but couldn't get his 3-pointers to fall consistently. He shot 9 of 19 from the field and just 2 for 10 overall, though he made up for any issues by going 10 for 10 at the free-throw line. George finished with 30 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and three steals, while turning the ball over just twice in 46 minutes.

After a hot start, George has settled in as a very solid scorer this season. He is averaging 20.4 points per game in the month of March, meaning he has topped 20 in each month so far.
