| Fantasy Analysis |
Even when healthy and active, Udoh has minimal Fantasy value in the majority of leagues. Ignore him in all formats Friday against the Hawks. (Updated 4/12/13). |
| Ekpe Udoh showed some improvement during his second year in the league as he averaged 5.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in 61 games for the Warriors and Bucks. The 25-year-old also averaged 1.7 blocks per game and spent much of the year coming off the bench with both teams. When he was finally inserted into the starting lineup by coach Mark Jackson at the beginning of March, he averaged 10.6 points and 5.0 rebounds as a starter but was shipped out to Milwaukee along with Monta Ellis. Udoh was relegated to a reserve role once he landed with the Bucks and is expected to backup Samuel Dalembert this upcoming season. However, he should still see a healthy number of minutes coming off the bench and most feel he could see a big boost in production with the promise of seeing regular playing time. While there is no question that Udoh has plenty of upside, Fantasy owners should consider him more of a low-end No. 2 Fantasy center when the season starts. Consider targeting him in the later rounds. (Updated 8/27/12) |
