Wall questionable, Humphries out for Wizards
|by Elliott Smith | Staff Writer|
|(3/20/15) Wizards guard John Wall went through shootaround Friday and is questionable for the team's game against the Clippers with an ankle injury, while Kris Humphries remains sidelined with a hamstring injury, according to CSNWashington.com.
Wall tweaked his ankle in the Wizards' win against the Jazz, but seems probable to give it a go as the team tries for its sixth straight victory. Humphries has not played since Feb. 25, missing 11 straight games.
The Wizards are 7-point underdogs.
|Statistically, it wasn't a big jump, but John Wall took his game to the next level last season for the Wizards. He averaged career-highs in points (19.3 per game) and assists (8.8) and finally emerged as a credible threat from long range, as he drained a career-high 108 3-pointers in 82 games. Wall finished second among all guards in Fantasy scoring, and his emergence as a reliable shooter also places him squarely among the handful of best options in Rotisserie leagues as well. Wall plays a deep position, but should still be off the board by the end of the first round in the vast majority of Fantasy leagues on Draft Day.
