|by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com|
|(3/16/15) Celtics shooting guard Avery Bradley scored 20 points on 8 of 14 shooting from the field, including 4 of 7 from 3-point range, in Boston's 108-89 win over the 76ers Monday.
Bradley also pulled down 10 rebounds, leading to his first double-double of the season. It was just his second career double-double in his fifth season. Bradley also dished out six assists and added two steals to his totals.
Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas might be out another week
|by Elliott Smith | Staff Writer|
|(3/12/15) Guard Isaiah Thomas could miss another week as he recovers from back and elbow injuries he suffered after taking a hard foul, Celtics general manager Danny Ainge said during a radio interview with WEEI.
"It's pretty bad, pretty swollen on both sides of his lower back and his elbow," Ainge said of Thomas' ailments.
Thomas is targeting Monday's game as a possible return. Thomas had scored at least 20 points in the Celtics' last four games before being injured. Guards Marcus Smart and Avery Bradley may see more time in his absence.
Celtics' Avery Bradley back in lineup Wednesday
|by R.J. White | CBSSports.com|
|(3/11/15) Celtics guard Avery Bradley will be back in the starting lineup Wednesday against the Grizzlies, coach Brad Stevens said.
Bradley has missed the team's last three games while recovering from a left elbow sprain. He has averaged 13.9 points and 2.9 rebounds in 58 games.
The Celtics are 6-point home underdogs Wednesday.
Celtics' Avery Bradley (elbow) will not play during current road trip
|by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com|
|(3/8/15) Celtics guard Avery Bradley will not accompany the team on its current road trip, reports the team's official website.
Avery missed Friday's contest with a sprained left elbow and he will not play Sunday at Orlando or Monday at Miami. Guard Isaiah Thomas is expected to see an increased role with Bradley sidelined. He is hoping to return for Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies.
Avery Bradley doesn't travel to road game with Celtics
|by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com|
|(3/7/15) Avery Bradley didn't make the trip to Orlando for Sunday's Celtics game at the Magic.
Bradley had been questionable for the game with an elbow injury. Bradley also missed Friday's game with the injury.
|Avery Bradley took a big step forward with his game last season, and the Celtics rewarded him rather handsomely with a four-year deal worth $32 million as a restricted free agent. He averaged a career-high 14.9 points per game on 43.8 percent shooting, and he nailed a career-best 79 3-pointers in just 60 games, while connecting on 39.5 percent of his attempts. Bradley might have trouble reaching those same levels this season, however, as Rajon Rondo will be back for a full season and the Celtics added combo guard Marcus Smart with the No. 6 overall pick. Bradley was little more than a decent Fantasy option even at the best of times last season, and can be considered a late-round option in most formats on Draft Day.
