Celtics G Avery Bradley pours in 32 points in loss
|by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com|
|(11/4/14) Celtics guard Avery Bradley played a terrific all-around game Monday at Dallas, scoring 32 points, collecting eight rebounds and making three steals. Bradley hit 13 of 22 from the field, including 4 of 6 from beyond the arc.
He'll try to keep it going Wednesday against the Raptors.
|Avery Bradley took a big step forward with his game last season, and the Celtics rewarded him rather handsomely with a four-year deal worth $32 million as a restricted free agent. He averaged a career-high 14.9 points per game on 43.8 percent shooting, and he nailed a career-best 79 3-pointers in just 60 games, while connecting on 39.5 percent of his attempts. Bradley might have trouble reaching those same levels this season, however, as Rajon Rondo will be back for a full season and the Celtics added combo guard Marcus Smart with the No. 6 overall pick. Bradley was little more than a decent Fantasy option even at the best of times last season, and can be considered a late-round option in most formats on Draft Day.
