Bradley struggling to make shots : Celtics guard Avery Bradley's shooting woes continued during Tuesday's contest against the Knicks. Bradley went just 3 of 11 from the field, including 0 of 2 from down town, and finished with six points in the 100-85 defeat. He added three rebounds to his stat line, while logging 34 minutes of game action.

| Fantasy Analysis |
Bradley has been mired in a shooting slump for some time now as he just can't seem to get himself going. The 22-year-old entered Tuesday's making just 31 percent of his shots over his previous seven games and is averaging 8.1 points and 2.1 rebounds over that span. Fantasy owners should consider leaving Bradley benched until he start knocking down some shots again.

| It was a tale of two seasons for Avery Bradley in his second year in the NBA, as he was rarely seen on the floor before the All-Star break, before becoming an impact player on both sides of the ball for the Celtics. In 28 games as a starter, mostly in the second half, Bradley averaged 12.3 points per game on 50.4 percent shooting, while playing stellar defense. The team was hoping he would continue his maturation this season, but offseason shoulder surgery is expected to keep him out until January, which obviously hurts his value. He might be worth a mid-season pick up, however Fantasy owners should avoid him on Draft Day, as the re-loaded Celtics may struggle to integrate him midseason. (Updated 8/21/12) |
