D. James done for season: New Jersey SF Damion James underwent surgery on his right foot on Tuesday, reports the Newark Star-Ledger. James is officially out for the rest of the season as he recovers. He'll be fine heading into next year. (Updated 01/24/2012)

James played in just seven games for the Nets this season and hadn't done much in those outings. He's averaging just 4.9 points and 4.7 boards per contest, which aren't exactly numbers Fantasy owners look for.
