Orton pressed into relief: With the Magic desperately thin in the front court as a result of Dwight Howards lingering back injury and Glen Davis knee injury on Sunday, the team was forced to turn to little-used reserve center Daniel Orton against the Cavaliers. Orton, who entered the game with 45 career minutes to his name, played a career-high 29 minutes, recording career bests across the board. He finished the game with 11 points, four rebounds and an assist, while also making a huge impact on the defensive side of the ball, blocking three shots and grabbing five steals. Fantasy Analysis
Orton may get a crash course in the NBA, as the Magic are still jostling for position in the playoffs with six games remaining. With no other true centers on the roster, the team may need to rely on Orton down the stretch, depending on how serious Davis injury is. Even if the team does turn to Orton for the final six games, he is too unproven to be worth using in any Fantasy format. (Updated 04/15/2012).
