Raptors' Greivis Vasquez, Landry Fields cleared for Saturday
|by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com|
|(11/15/14) Raptors guards Greivis Vasquez and Landry Fields were both cleared to play against the Jazz on Saturday night, according to Sportsnet.ca.
Vasquez suffered a right knee contusion earlier in the week but has yet to miss a game this season. He is averaging 8.1 points, 2.3 assists and 2.3 rebounds through his first nine games.
Fields has played a total of eight minutes this season, so despite being healthy, his role off the bench could be uncertain.

|(11/15/14) Raptors guard Greivis Vasquez was officially ruled as questionable for Saturday's game against the Jazz because of a right knee contusion, according to TSN.ca. Vasquez will likely test out his knee prior to tipoff before the team determines his status.
He is averaging 8.1 points, 2.3 assists and 2.3 rebounds through his first nine games.
Raptors' Greivis Vasquez a late scratch Friday
|by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com|
|(10/17/14) Raptors guard Greivis Vasquez was a late scratch for Friday's preseason game, according to the Oklahoman.
Vasquez was hit in the head by a basketball during shoot-around, and will not play. It's unclear if he's dealing with a serious injury or if the team is just being cautious and holding him out.
Raptors re-sign Greivis Vasquez
|by Joe Polito | CBSSports.com|
|(7/10/14) Restricted free-agent Greivis Vasquez came off the market late Wednesday when the Raptors chose to re-sign him to a two-year, $13 million deal, according to Yahoo Sports.
Vasquez had maintained that he'd like to return to Toronto, where he was traded last season by the Kings. He averaged 9.5 points and 3.7 assists backing up Kyle Lowry last year.
Raptors make three restricted free agents
|by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com|
|(6/29/14) The Raptors extended qualifying offers to three players coming off their rookie deals, making them restricted free agents.
The Raptors will retain matching rights on guards Nando De Colo and Greivis Vasquez, as well as forward Patrick Patterson as they head into free agency.
|Following his breakout campaign in 2012-13, Greivis Vasquez was one of the league's biggest disappointments last season. He had a starting job with the Kings but struggled to earn big minutes, and then found himself buried on the bench following an early December trade to Toronto. He wasn't a complete nonfactor while backing up Kyle Lowry, averaging 9.5 points and 3.7 assists in 61 games for the Raptors, but it is obviously not an ideal situation for his Fantasy value. Vasquez is hardly starting material as a backup, but he would be a very worthwhile option if Lowry was to go down with a long-term issue. Consider taking him in the later rounds of most Fantasy formats as bench depth on Draft Day.
