Neal active for Spurs after injury: San Antonio guard Gary Neal was dealing with a foot injury prior to Wednesday's game against the Nuggets, reports the San Antonio Express-News. Neal was thought to be a DNP-CD, but instead was told to take some time off the foot. He returned against the Nuggets. (Updated 3/27/13) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
Neal missed three games with the foot injury and is back now for the Spurs. He's averaged nine points and under two assists per game this season with 1.2 3-pointers per night. Now that he's healthy again, Neal has low-end Fantasy value. (Updated 3/27/13). |
| Gary Neal has worked himself into a nice bench and role player for the Spurs after two seasons in the NBA. Still, the 27-year-old didn't show much improvement last year as he averaged 9.9 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.5 3-pointers per game over 21.5 minutes in 56 contests. We don't see him making any major strides in the 2012-13 NBA season, either. He'll continue to fill a similar role for coach Gregg Popovich and is just a low-end Fantasy option not worthy of being drafted outside the deepest of leagues. (Updated 8/22/12) |
