Samuels remains a non-factor : Cavaliers forward Samardo Samuels was once again not much of a factor during Tuesday night's contest against the 76ers. Samuels finished with just four points in the 103-85 defeat, connecting on both of his field-goal attempts. He also added five rebounds, two blocks and one steal to his stat line, while logging 20 minutes off the bench. (Updated 03/27/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Samuels continues to backup Tristan Thompson at the forward spot, and has been seeing around 15-20 minutes per night in that role. While that trend is likely to continue moving forward, Samuels inconsistent production makes him a player worth avoiding at this point in the season. (Updated 03/27/2012).

Danny Granger scored 18 points to help the Indiana Pacers defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers 102-83 Friday night and clinch a playoff berth.
Samardo Samuels was thrown into action last January after not being in the picture for much of the first half of the season. The results were promising. Playing just over 25 minutes per game last March, he averaged 11.9 points and 5.8 rebounds, showing flashes of potential for the future. This season, he'll have to fight for playing time once again, but could develop into a potential starting power forward on a Cavaliers team without much depth at the position. Samuels will not be in line for enough playing time going into the season to target in most Fantasy drafts as anything more than a late-round flier, but he has shown the ability to produce when pressed into action. That makes him worthy of a look. (Updated 8/30/11)
