Fantasy Analysis
Crawford has been shooting the ball very well over the last two games as he has made 18 of his last 31 field-goal attempts. Crawford has scored 21 and 31 points in those two contests, respectively and seems to be finally settling into his role in Portland. While he still comes off the bench, Crawford has been seeing just over 30 minutes per night over his last 10 contests, so consider him a viable No. 3 Fantasy G heading into Week 8 (Feb. 13-19). Veteran G Jamal Crawford saw a huge drop in production during his second year in Atlanta last season. Crawford averaged just 14.2 points, 3.2 assists and 1.7 rebounds, but still managed to ink a two-year deal with Portland in the offseason. He struggled shooting the ball last season, especially from behind the arc, as his 34.1 shooting percentage from downtown was his lowest mark since 2006-07. However, the 31-year-old should bounce back with the Blazers as he earns plenty of minutes with his new team. He's one of the few perimeter scoring options for Portland and should see roughly 15-plus shots a night. Despite his down campaign, Crawford should be viewed as a premium source for 3-point shooting and scoring, making him worthy of a mid-round pick in 2011-12 Fantasy drafts. (Updated 12/16/11)
