Magloire only played 15 minutes in the game, but was highly active during his time on the floor. Magloire went 2 for 4 from the field to score four points as he added seven rebounds to finish tied for second on the team. Magloire added a blocked shot for the Raptors against the Lakers. |
Magloire signs with Toronto
|(12/9/11) The Raptors signed Jamaal Magloire, making the center the team's first Canadian player in its 16-year history, on Friday. The 33-year-old Magloire, a 6-foot-11 Toronto native, has played 11 seasons in the NBA, averaging 7.5 points, 6.6 rebounds and 22.1 minutes in 646 regular-season games with the Charlotte/New Orleans, Milwaukee, Portland, New Jersey, Dallas and Miami. He was an All-Star in 2003-04 when he started all 82 games with New Orleans, averaging 13.6 points and 10.3 rebounds.|
Magloire to become first Canadian Raptor?

That could be changing as soon as free agent players are able to sign with new teams on Friday, as C Jamaal Magloire, a native of Toronto, could join the team on a one-year deal for the veteran's minimum, according to The Toronto Star.|
Pacers overcome Granger ejection to win
Tyler Hansbrough made two key free throws with less than 15 seconds to play and the Indiana Pacers overcame the ejection of leading scorer Danny Granger to beat the Toronto Raptors 95-90 on Friday night.
