Preseason Outlook

Martin plays on for Knicks : Knicks forward Kenyon Martin was able to shake off an illness during Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals at Indiana. Martin, who was being considered a game-time decision entering the contest, logged 29 minutes but failed to score in the 93-82 defeat. He missed on three of his field-goal attempts and added five rebounds, three assists and two blocks to his stat line. (Updated 5/14/13)

Fantasy Analysis
Martin was signed back in February and really was a big part of New York's rotation down the stretch. However, the veteran did have some trouble staying healthy over the stretch run as he was limited by knee and ankle issues. Martin is slated to be an unrestricted free agent over the summer, but we aren't sure exactly how much interest he will draw. The 35-year-old would have to land in the right situation to have any sort of Fantasy value heading into the 2013-14 campaign. (Updated 5/14/13).
